Here is a quick, very cool tip which shows you how to embed an A360 drawing or model using HTML.
For this example, we are going to use an existing A360 model to show you how to get the details needed to embed a model.
First, go to autodesk360.com and sign in. This will launch your default hub. Next, open up the drawing or model that you want to share. In this case, I’m going to go to my “Tips and Tricks” Project and open up a Fusion 360 model.
Tip: Use a single click to open up the model in the A360 viewer: Once the model is open, we can then click on the “Share” dropdown.
This brings up a dialog box which allows you to share a link via email, with the option to “Allow download” and even “Password protect” the file. Just click on the “Embed” button to bring up the embedded view.
By default, the size will be set to 800 X 600, but I’m going to drop this down to 640 X 480. Next, just click your mouse into the code view and then copy it.
Lastly, open your favorite HTML editor and paste the code there. Save it and load up the html page – you’ll notice that you can now see your A360 drawing or model in the browser! To show you – here is the same file referenced above, embedded into this blog post! Click on it to manipulate the model.
